Our Framework

Launch

Career Launch is a certified partnership that partners high school graduates with an earn-as-you-learn opportunity. Businesses partner with higher education or other credentialing organizations to provide paid work experiences to students so they can obtain the training needed to make them a competitive candidate for career growth.

Career Launch, the final stage of the Career Connected Learning Framework, is intended to bridge the gap between high school graduation and a meaningful career path that leads to a family-sustaining wage.

Career Launch programs support candidates in traditional career pathways, such as enrollment in a higher education or career training program following high school graduation. Programs also work to re-engage individuals who haven’t found a good career fit through partnerships with Workforce Southwest, NEXT and Connect to Careers.

How to support Career Launch

Career Launch programs must be certified by the State Board of Career and Technical Colleges. If you work in an industry sector you are interested in developing, please connect with our Executive Director and we can support you through the process.
