From the Governance Board
The Network is progressing in the development of the 3-year strategic plan. We expect to have this plan completed and shared with the larger Network in June.

The Network has secured over $50,000 in additional funds from Washington STEM to support Early STEM, Teacher Connect and LASER programs regionally.

|
Flipped Internships have taken off in Longview and Ocean Beach! Gibbs and Olson partnered with Hanna Burleson’s Drone Technology Class at R.A. Long High School.
|
Wahkiakum, Ocean Beach and Longview also supported a series of Industry Focus panels to expose students to career pathways in Transportation, Construction, Engineering and Automotive Tech.

nPower Gorge Girls has held three after school sessions since January, reaching dozens of middle school girls across Klickitat and Skamania Counties. We’ve partnered with amazing women working in engineering, aerospace and conservation and are gearing up for several more this spring.

Flipped Internships have also been on the rise in Clark County- La Center partnered with Mackay Sposito to introduce students to land survey technology, drone technology and GIS. Hockinson and Washougal are also building these experiences for students as young as 12!
|
|
Clark College was approved for additional Career Launch programs, bringing the regional total to 5, with 3 additional applications under review!
