Career Connect Southwest
From the Governance Board

How does career connected learning work? Is this just for high school students in CTE classes?

Our partners at the King-Pierce Career Connected Learning Network want to introduce you to Luisa to share how it works!
Want to get involved with one of our Advisory Committees? Reach out to Vickei Hrdina to learn more about getting involved in our cradle-to-career initiatives.

GOAL 1

Postsecondary Enrollment and Completion

Congratulations to Trout Lake School District and the 11 small schools in the newly forming SW WA Rural CTE Cooperative. With funding from CCW Round 10 and the support of Pacific Crest Innovation Academy and Ilwaco High School, two new CTE graduation pathways will open to students in cooperative districts in fall of 2023! More to come - get in touch with Melanie Walker to learn more.
Got an idea for a career explore, prep or launch program? Interested in finding out more about Pre-Apprenticeships? We have more funding opportunities! Sign up for our Lunch and Learns in May to hear more!
